Winter Woes at the University FarmFebruary 25, 2014
The cold weather has our Ag Department moving a little slow this month, but that doesn’t mean things aren’t happening at the University Farm. Our Farm Manager, Bill Kuntz, has had his hands full this winter with wrangling busted pipes, which has meant lots of holes being dug and shovels needing to be de-mudded. Here, freshman Bobbi Mathews (Harrisburg, Mo) is scraping the mud off of one of the shovels so that it will be clean and ready to go for the next time. However, it can almost be guaranteed that Bill and everyone else that works at the farm are hoping the weather will warm up soon and they won’t have to worry about it again until next year.
